Author, Playwright, Screenwriter

For years, Betty had dreams of being on stage. Her dreams were vivid. However, it was never clear of what she was doing on stage. As a child, she along with her sister Linda would pretend they had tea parties and act out stories. Acting was something she always wanted to do, but never in a million years she thought she'd be providing scripts for actors to develop, grow, and shine on stage. Betty has been writing, acting, and producing inspirational stage plays since 2007. Her humble beginnings started when she was asked by a dear friend to write a Christmas skit for the youth at her home church. Reluctantly, Betty agreed to write the skit. The skit was a success and the youth was asking to be in more productions. That was the beginning of Betty discovering she had a gift from God. God began to give her visions, stories, and songs that made a great impact in the lives of those who were involved and who came to see it. Her skits began to escalate into full length plays and now, books, and movies. Betty is currently the author of five books. In 2014, she was featured in "The Philadelphia Tribune" for the play, “The Resurrected Life” for giving all of the proceeds to her local church to help support the expansion and endowment of the church.  In 2020, Betty was highlighted as a featured author in "Aspiring Author Magazine,” and was a special guest and interviewed as an author and playwright  on the podcast show, “31 blessons:” with Christen Miller. Betty knows the importance of her gift and use it as a witnessing tool to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her favorite saying is a saying that she heard Gloria Copeland say on the Believers Voice of Victory program. "God take my life, and do something with it." God has done exactly that. Betty has done plays in halls, churches, and theaters. She is a native of Philadelphia, PA. She's a wife and mother of two children. Betty believes the mission of drama ministry is to present the message of God's love, grace, forgiveness, and salvation through dramatic presentations that will educate, entertain, uplift, encourage, and inspire the audience and everyone  involved to live for Christ.
